WWF’s Living Planet Report shows average population sizes of wildlife have declined by 69% since 1970. Protecting what’s left is not enough – we’re now in a race to restore the natural world and prevent catastrophic climate change before it’s too late. And it’s a race we can still win. There is hope. How your donation can help
Our vision is that by 2030, the natural world's vital signs will be improving and we'll have halted the loss of nature, and your donation will be helping us to achieve this. All funds go to where it is needed the most such as:
- Funding AI technology This allows us to monitor changes to vital habitats and ecosystems in real time to help inform our teams in the local area
- Restoring and protecting vital habitats We're working with Indigenous Peoples and local communities to protect their forest homes which are facing threats such as mining, deforestation, and fires.
- Tackling climate change We've planted over 65,000 native trees in Yorkshire which will help capture excess carbon in the atmosphere here in the UK.
- Continuing to put pressure on our UK Government We want our government to keep their promises to solve the nature and climate crisis which they are in real danger of breaking.
