Blue forests encompass vital habitats like mangroves, seagrasses, saltmarshes, and kelp forests, are extraordinary natural allies in our efforts to bring nature back from the brink. But they are being destroyed at an alarming rate. With your help we can turn the tide and bring our world back to life.

By donating to the Blue Forest Fund, you could help conserve and restore these vital ecosystems, supporting powerful, nature-based solutions that protect coastal communities, enhance biodiversity, and help combat climate change.

Your donation will fund vital blue forest projects

All donations will go towards our Blue Forest Projects. By donating, you will:

  • Support restoration projects to protect endangered species such as manatees and dugongs.
  • Fund projects within mangrove forests, seagrass meadows, and saltmarshes.
  • Help increase the resilience of coastal communities, by tackling the climate crisis.

Your donation could help with these projects

  • Mangrove forest conservation: mangrove trees can trap up to 10 times more carbon than regular forests. They also provide important homes for animals like the Bengal tiger and the proboscis monkey.

  • Seagrass restoration: seagrass meadows act as a vital nursery and feeding ground for a variety of species and support iconic marine life such as sea turtles.

Blue forests continue to face significant threats

  • More than two thirds of mangrove forests around the world have been destroyed.

  • Since 1990, seagrass meadows have reduced by half

  • More than a third of global saltmarshes have been lost.

But with your help we can turn the tide and bring our world back to life. Donate to the Blue Forest Fund today.
