"Young people - they care. They know that this is the world that they're going to grow up in, that they're going to spend the rest of their lives in. But, I think it's more idealistic than that. They actually believe that humanity, human species, has no right to destroy and despoil regardless.”

FAQs

The Environment Leaders Programme (ELP) is a powerful new qualification and award for young people. At its core, it will motivate students to lead on delivering positive-change projects for nature.

Our goal is to reach tens of thousands of students in the UK and to make a real, tangible impact on environmental problems.

  • The new award is a Level 3 (A-level) accredited qualification where students gain UCAS points – hugely motivating for participating young people – for successfully delivering environmental change work.
  • Environmental projects initiated as part of the award will range from tackling practices that are harming nature to helping decarbonise schools.
  • In the process, many people – from families to community members, school leaders to shop owners and local politicians – will be reached.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception from 6:30 – 7:40 PM.

Dinner will be taken in the Maharaja Tent from 7:40 – 10:00 PM, with a beautifully curated dinner, live piano accompaniment and acoustic musical performances.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy immersive experiences - inspired by youth and nature - and surprise guests and performances.

There will also be an exciting silent auction with exclusive lots, supporting WWF’s youth engagement work.
